Metal milling – it’s the mechanical removal of a layer of metal from the surface of a raw piece to obtain a part with parameters specified by the technical drawing. The distinctive feature of such operations is their high precision. Milling machines are used to form grooves, splines, notches on the surface of the piece, for grinding elements, as well as for drilling holes. It is possible to order the restoration of worn parts. Thanks to the use of CNC machines in mechanical processing, it is possible to perform operations of any complexity, combining high precision and productivity.
The mechanical processing of holes in metal parts includes operations aimed at adjusting the geometry and surface characteristics of the piece to the values required by the project.
